Huainan Mining Group is a wholly state-owned enterprise. It is one of the 500 Large Enterprises in China and one of the 12 Key State-owned Backbone Enterprises in Anhui province. It mainly engages in coal, electricity and real estate, concurrently engages in machinery, chemical industry and environmental development. Huainan mining area is one of the 13 Hundred Million Tons Coal Production Bases and Six Large Coal Power Bases in China, with an annual coal output of 71 million tons and 84000 employees.
